It's the weekend and the local pool is open. Been take'en my son over to the pool and hang'en out in the warm water. It's been crazy hot here in Minnesota..believe it or not. We're either in the air conditioning or spending time staying "cool" in the "pool". So, I got some good scrapbooking done. Did a hip & funky layout. Lot's of doodles. Tons of embellishments. Blue. Green. White. Aqua. Fuchsia. Can you guess what the subject matter is? Um, can anyone say, "Swimming"? You'll get to see it tomorrow along with another layout that I was considering for MMM. I'll be posting two layouts for ya tomorrow...
It seems I've been gett'en a lot of ya visiting from www.scrapscene.com . I'd like to take a moment to thank you for checking out my blog. I luv having new visitors. Also, I'd like to thank "Scrap Scene" for recognizing my work and choosing to showcase one of my entries. You can only imagine how happily surprised I was to see my stuff at this site..never in a million years did I think my work would land at such a "cool" place. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
My poor hubby's white blood cell count has crashed. He's been told not to get sick or injure himself. I told him we'd get him a bubble to live in like bubble boy. We laughed. He was rather upset though by the news (as expected), but he's been reassured that this happens with many chemo patients and that his chemo would be decreased by 5% at the next treatment in July. His chemo will continue to be adjusted over time to increase his wbc numbers.
