Some of you have already started contacting me concerning my next kit. I wish I had a set date to share with you as to when the kit will be available for reservation, but I've not solidified a timeline as of yet for the creation of the project. The current estimate is mid-March. My recommendation is to monitor my blog for updates...price range will more than likely remain within the usual amount and the kit will include a vast variety of products. If you're absolutely afraid of missing out on the kit, please do contact me. I'll be sure to email you when the kit announcement is made!
I'm feeling well improved compared to earlier this week. The anxiety has subsided some in the last few days and as a result, I've been able to get some work done from home. I'm in the middle of writing a "Tips & Techniques" blog entry for Crate Paper's blog next week. I recently completed a new layout using their "Pink Plum" collection. Below is a sneak peek of the layout...visit Crate Paper's blog on Monday to see the layout in it's entirety along with a host of accessible ideas used to create the layout.
The lovely paper rosettes have been calling me lately. I've seen many scrapbookers creating these miniature works of art these last couple of months and for some odd reason, I hadn't thought of doing it myself. Thanks to Lolly over at LollyChops, I gave the whole rosette thing "a-whirl". They're not so difficult to create, just takes a tweezers, paper and glue-dots. If you're wanting to try one of these rosettes, visit Lolly's blog for an easy to follow along video tutorial. They're super easy and oh so cute.
I'll admit, I love my naps. I take them frequently. While napping yesterday afternoon, I heard a "k-thunk" on my porch and a loud knock on my door. The sound scared me at first, but I quickly realized that the only thing that could possibly be that loud was a big'ol box from Sassafras. I peeled myself off the couch while all groggy eyed and disheveled and opened the door. Yep, Sassafras's mailing label sat there staring at me, so I took the box inside and opened it up. There was a mighty pack of m&m's on top along with Sassafras's newest collections. Didn't take me long to fall in love...I reopened the box this morning and took photos of the goods. Definitely going to include some of these items in my next kit (warning - image heavy):
Ok, time to be on my way! This post has gone on long enough - sorry about all the photos. Hope you don't mind..I'm a tad bit photo obsessed. I'm also crazy about color - you'll always find an abundance of it here. If there's an opportunity to share something colorful, I will and without hesitation..Sassafras is truly blessed when it comes to color. Have a great weekend you guys! See you Monday.
