Could it really be that I've fallen upon a white dye based ink pad that actually works? I feel like I've been on the hunt for one the last couple of years and of those I've tried so far, none panned out to be much more than but a mere shadow of white. This particular ink is "solid white", even when applied with clear polymer stamps! After trying out the new pad, I had to remark on it here because there's been much discussion concerning the abilities of white ink pads. I won't specify which pads hadn't worked for me, but I will suggest the Hero Art's pad as being a great, dependable option. It doesn't require embossing either, which is a huge plus for me! It's straight-up dye-based and works especially well on dark surfaces. I stamped with it on kraft cardstock too, and as you're probably able to determine from the above photo, the image's design is clear and sharp, and the white is saturated and noticeable. You can't miss it!
Just had to share..have an ink pad review you'd like to share with the rest of us? I'm sure there are more workable white inks out there..what's your white ink preference?
And one last item, is anyone out there familiar with a solid, matte white mist that's currently on the market? I'm seeking the same level of vividness with the mist as well...thanks for any suggestions you might have!
