For a long time, I hadn't a clue how to expand the width of my blog's columns. Even the content area stood at a measly 500 pixels. It had been driving me crazy, too, because every other blog out there had content areas nearly double the size of mine. Finally, out of the blue today, Typepad brought the matter front and center, instructions included. I immediately copied and pasted the code into the ol' C++ box. Sure enough, it took further tweaking to get it just right. I had to expand the size of the header, too..arg. Thankfully, it didn't take long to get everything where it needed to be. Now, the content area is a whopping 600 pixels in width! Sure, I could of gone bigger, but I'm not looking to share mammoth size photos here. Mainly, the goal is to delve further into the details without losing sight of practicality. I don't want you to have to scroll down a mile in order for you to look at just one photo. For now, 600 is plenty!
What do you think? You like the new set-up, or should I go back to 500 pixels? I think I might like things a little more open around here. Gonna take some getting used to though :) Plus, I did a crazy thing today that's going to quickly justify the expansion. Mum's the word until the box arrives tomorrow....ha! Any guesses as to what's in the box? ;)
