Had you seen the new Crate Paper collections? What do you think? Personally, I'm a HUGE fan of the updated product designs. After spending nearly all week with the beautiful goods on my desk, I feel like Crate Paper has really outdone itself again. The papers are saturated in color, and present a nice even balance of large/small and simple/complex patterns. The chipboard accents cater to some really cute images, including "On Trend's" funky, emerald green eye glasses and "Acorn Avenue's" mismatched leaves. There are also some new embellishment additions to each collection. My fave by far are the sequin-filled vellum shapes and pre-sewn labels. The last five days, I worked diligently to make sure I had three layouts sent to CP prior to the start of CHA. Crate boxes arrived Monday & Tuesday. I finished the very last layout just one hour before I was able to overnight the contributions via Fed Ex. It was a race to the finish line and as usual, I was the last to cross it. The projects will be on display at the Crate Paper booth during this week's CHA event.
If you'll be at CHA this week, stop by the Crate Paper booth and say "Hello!" to Crate's magnifiscent Design Director, Lisa! Let her know I said "Hello!" as well :)) I'll be staying home from this season's show.
Hope you are well and staying reasonably cool given the Summer's extensively hot weather lately. We're spending a lot of time either inside, or at the Splash pool! On top of that, my ice tea intake is waaaay up! Laugh. The coffee shops are loving me right now - take care!
