Linden Hills is by far one of our favorite local Twin Cities communities. The quaint, trendy district is home to a plethora of boutique shops, fine eateries, bungalo houses, large inviting lakes and kid-friendly parks. Ethan and I spent nearly the whole day out there, today. Just prior to picking up some ice cream at Sabastian Joes, a popular TC's ice cream joint, we stopped off at The Bibelot, an ultra-fun independent gift shop within the area. While perusing the place, I ran into a new line of products from one of my all time favorite illustrators, Cori Dantini. Sprinkled throughout the store and for sale were her wall hangings, plates, canvases, paper lights, journals, tiny notebooks and cards. Almost immediately, I told myself I couldn't leave the store without buying at least one of something from her, so I selected the calendar planner and here's why....
If you're a crafter/scrapbooker like me, then you know exactly the reason I went with the planner. Hands down, I love paper, anything paper. If it has pretty prints on it, even better. And wouldn't you know it, Cori's illustrated planner is full of beautiful, eye-catching images, the kind that beg to be cut-out and glued to a scrapbook page, altered album, card, whatever. I couldn't leave them behind. No way. I also couldn't keep it all to myself, so when I got home this evening, I photographed my fave pages/drawings for all of you to look at and ooh and aah over.
Get ready 'cause there's lots of color ahead!! This is by no means your ordinary, everyday planner - it's truly meant for the artist within.
Who would think that such a tiny lil' book could hold so many inspiring images? Not me. Deciding which Cori item to buy turned out to be a no brainer. Looks like I got lucky out at Linden this afternoon. Gonna keep the planner on my desk until the right project comes along to make use of it. My next goal is to own one of Cori's motivational wall hangings. I'd love to hang one up in my crafty space!

Have a fantastic weekend you guys! Off to clean up my scrapbook space, which is look'en more and more like a disaster zone with each passing day. Yikes!!
