You guys are some of the most patient people I know. This place hasn't seen an update in over a week. Don't think that I haven't had it on my radar. It's always on my radar. Life simply hasn't been all that exciting..at least not in the kind of way you'd be interested in hearing about. Laugh. Let me give you a run down as to what's currently happening in my day-to-day life.

Crate Paper
The new design team is fully on board and the new collections are expected to arrive this week. That means you'll soon have access to two of Crate's newest Fall collections; Acorn Avenue & On Trend. Be on the lookout for them at your local retailer in the next couple of weeks. We'll be seeking out your Crate Paper projects, shortly. :)
Surprises
Every time I turn a corner, a new opportunity presents itself. August has been a HUGE month for me in this regard. Life has definitely taken a U-Turn and I'm very excited about it. There's one particular opportunity that encompasses a sizable investment on my part, but I'm looking forward to it. Life is good, really. Four must be my lucky number ;)
Ethan/Motherhood
Together, we've done just about every Summer activity under the sun, minus camping. Laugh. No camping. Can't go without a real shower. The last couple of months, I took a number of days off to spend time with my sweet lil'guy, Ethan. In a few short weeks, he starts Kindergarten and I head back to the Falls for school. We've traveled back and forth between various splash parks, play areas, garden nurseries and ice cream parlors. Before the Summer ends, I'd like to take him to Minnesota's largest outdoor garden, the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. In my heart, I know he'd love to walk the grounds and check out all the plants, birds, water elements, and so forth. It'll be our last "big activity" for the Summer!
Dating Life
Where do I begin? It has been a whirlwind, to say the least. I'm still dating, though at a lighter, more casual pace. Without giving away any details in this department, things are going pretty good. :)
The Falls/School
Oh yes, another round is about to start! Today, while in my car, a reminder signal went off in my head letting me know that I have only two-in-a-half more weeks of freedom at my disposal. It was as though the signal had been pre-planned to go off at a specific time...a warning of sorts. Laugh. Not sure who put it there, but I heard it loud and clear. This semester, I signed on for Biology & Business Law. Bio should be a no brainer for this retired vet tech, but Business Law sounds about as exciting as watching paint dry. From what I hear, it's a tough class. I guess I'll soon find out...
Craftiness
I finally spot cleaned my desk. It was starting to buckle under the weight of the papers and embellishments that had collected over the last couple of months thanks to my lack of clean-up initiative. I've had a lot of projects in the works, including a few that I've not been able to share here. When I'm on overdrive, going from one project to the next, I opt not to notice the mess-in-the-making. There's another round about to start, too. Thankfully, the desk is clear...temporarily.
Random
There's traveling ahead! It'll be nice to get back on a plane again. Haven't done so in quite sometime. Look'en forward to it! :)

A funny share before leaving ya today...
So, this Ethan hiding from my camera. It's his automated response these days to the device. The only time I'm able to get him to cooperate in front of the lens is if I bribe him, otherwise, he'd rather avoid it at all cost. In this particular picture, we were at Whole Foods in Edina (Large US Organic Foods Retailer), enjoying an assortment of delicious organic foods. The lighting was perfect thanks to the large windows to the left of us. I couldn't "not" take out the camera. Laugh. Almost immediately, Ethan dodged and headed beneath the table. I caught him taken the dive. It's now my new, fave photo of him! Say Cheese, Ethan!
