I recently did something I hadn't done in a long time; I took a break from traditional scrapbooking, ran to a local Archivers, bought a Seven Gypsies antiqued white tray, and decked it out with Gossamer Blue's October Kit. Now, this might not seem like that big of a deal, but guess what folks, the last time I crafted outside the periphery of paper was way before anyone knew what "call me maybe" was all about. I just never had it in me to push paint onto something, distress the heck out of it, and then disguise it with a one inch thick layer of random embellishments. For some reason though, all that changed last week. Laugh. I don't know if it was the 43% Archivers coupon staring at me from my iPhone screen , or the cuteness of the Seven Gypsies itty bitty tray, but I was sold on the idea of plastering pretty stuff into it's cubbies, and alongside them, a sizable photo of Ethan, the much younger version. And that brings us to the weekend! Not only had I altered the tray, I crafted a layout as well. Turns out I can multitask when the tough get going! Today, I have sneaks of both - and a brief tip at the very bottom. Can't leave ya empty handed!!
*The tray is a personal purchase. It's not included in the kit. Sorry!

Pre-Reveal Tip
These glitter triangles are super easy to create. Simply buy yourself a role of American Craft's "This to That" 1" Double Stick Tape, the best double adhesive on the planet, and trim from it, a series of 1" squares. Take those squares and cut them along the diagonal. From one square, you should get two triangles. Position them on your project however you want. Sprinkle on the glitter, using as many colors as you like, and shake off the excess - remove strays with a soft paint brush. :)

Sleep is a'callen'! I better get to bed!! I have homework and classes awaiting me tomorrow. Take care you guys!
*Share your Seven Gypsies Tray if you have one and post a link to it's location - I'd love to see it! Thanks ahead of time :))
